Logo - Banner

Trying to get the forums even slightly customized, I found a site that makes "logo" images out of text... I'll post my examples - the one that is my favorite is going to be temporarily used. A more permanent one will be decided based on not only my own opinions of the images but also stated opinions of others. Hopefully the final image will be not only this text but also include another type of "logo" having an image that may eventually be somewhat associated with the site. Anyway, here goes.

The design I chose to work with was the Nova design. The site is http://cooltext.com

All Default settings


CelticHand font


RoyalAcidbath font


Magician font


Valium font (mostly for the name...lol)


Then I chose to change the glow color a little, using the default font (my personal favorite)

DeepSkyBlue


MidnightBlue


And finally, just regular old Blue


I stuck with blues because I haven't changed the theme for the forums...when the colors here change the colors of the "logo" probably would too.

I think my favorite was the default...usually that's not the case, but with this one it just turned out good. I mean the "light" was right at the L in Life which seemed perfect, and I didn't find a place to set that... and then the colors just worked well... and the font made sense too. But that's just my opinion on it. If anyone else has an opinion, feel free to share. Also, if you create your own that you like, feel free to share that too. Just be aware that if it's uploaded to the site I may later have to delete it to free up space, so don't take it personal if that's the case.

I like the midnight blue color and the font i like is the magician font and the default one. I would like to see them combined with the midnight blue to see which one would look better. This is my vote. I am working on my own logo ideas so be patient.

The one already displayed in midnight blue was the default font, so I'll just repost it:


Then I have to make one using midnight blue and the magician font...


I will admit I liked the midnight blue color, but it seems similar to one I've seen somewhere before... *shrugs* maybe with enough other modifications it'd work though.

i like the one with the magician font with the midnight blue, especially since the light seems to surround the whole name.

Yeah, I noticed that too... the placement of the light seems pretty random, though, so it may or may not be able to be recreated later if other things are changed.

LOL random is fine for many things, but sometimes consistency can be good too... just depends on what's being done.

I haven't had time to make the others i have in my head. Due to my dad recovering from knee surgery. But, just wanted you guys to know I haven't forgotten.
