7 things NOT to do on Valentine's Day

I was sent this list in my email and I liked it so I thought I'd share.

Note: This is geared toward women (it was sent to a group exclusively of them), however the same points would hold true for anyone if they were reworded slightly.

#5 - Take yourself for granted Wrote:...Your worth and value as a human being and sister, daughter, friend is in no way influenced by your relationship status...
...You are loved and valued for more than your ability to snag a significant other.

This would hold true for men, but they'd be brothers, sons, etc. not sisters/daughters.

#6 - Be alone Wrote:...Gather with friends over dinner. Get some pals and go see a flick...
...Do whatever it takes to surround yourself with love. This is one of the best ways to ensure you spend the night having fun and focusing on the wonderful, non-romantic loves in your life.

#7 - Overlook the good in your life Wrote:...there is much in life that is equally – if not more – important. Try making a list of blessings in your life...
...We need reminders of this every day and not just Valentine’s Day.

7 Things NOT to Do This Valentine's Day

I particularly agree with 5-7, not just on the holiday either. Unfortunately, I can't do much about being alone that day myself...unless I wind up with people online to keep me company. I won't technically be alone - I'll be with family - but many of you already know how great a help that's likely to be.

Yeah I know. Just so you know it hard to see the writing on the fire thread. You have to highlight it in order to read it. But, I do like what was said. I wish you could be with me on valentines day. I miss you hunny.

Thanks for letting me know re: the fire theme. I'll check it out when I get a chance (probably later tonight) and see about fixing it. Meanwhile, you can always use a different theme until it's ready =) EDIT: This problem has been fixed.

As for V-day: I know. I miss you, too. Unfortunately I doubt there's anything we can do.

P.S. In the future it'd be a better idea to actually post issues regarding themes (or anything else) in the tech support forum, suggestions forum (if you have a suggestion how to fix it, such as "make the background color black"), a thread about the particular theme (such as with the V-Day theme thread), or a private message to me. Thanks.

I agree..sometime we don't count our blessings anymore, we only count our problems. Life will be easier if we count our blessing than troubles. And let us a be a blessing to other people.
